I work as a psychologist at DYS-centrum Praha, z. ú. I offer assessment, counselling, short-term interventions, and long-term therapy to children and adults. I work with individuals, families, sometimes with teachers of my clients.

I have been involved in several different research projects. I used to teach at the Department of psychology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University. I write books and professional articles.

In my work I try to follow the principles of the so-called cognitive approach to education. In other words, I look for ways how to stimulate pupils' thinking when assessing them and/or working with them; how to activate them in their learning, so that they enjoy it, learn with comprehension and show their hidden potential.

I always want to understand the learning and thinking process of children and adolescents. I believe that everyone has the potential for further growth.

I work as a psychologist at the NGO DYS-centrum Praha, z. ú. In addition to working with clients from preschool age to high school students, I am involved in the management of the organization. In the past I worked at a special education centre for children with learning and behavioural disorders.

I have attended several courses on the Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Method, and I regularly apply its principles in my work with clients and in my daily life.

I try to find the strengths of each person, i.e. the abilities and skills they excel at, and support their further development.

I studied primary education. The choice of my profession had been clear since childhood  in which I was surrounded by learning, movement and art (I attended a class with extra lessons of modern gymnastics and at the same time I went to the art and dance lesson at Art school in Opava).

In addition to my profession, thanks to my daughters, I used to coach aesthetic group gymnastics.

My family and our school are the sources of my lifelong learning. We learn from each other, we perceive our feelings, moods, successes and failures. Just like with my family, I like to change the environment with my students: the classroom setting for a park, mountains, a library or a gallery.

I studied elementary education at the Faculty of Education at Charles University. I have successfully passed the state exams in English, Czech, mathematics, and pedagogy, and all that remains for me to complete my degree is to defend my thesis in September. Even during my studies, I was most drawn to working with younger children because of their curiosity, spontaneity, and the joy they feel when they discover on their own.

In the classroom, I find it important that children feel safe and know that making mistakes isn’t a problem, but a natural part of learning. I strive to create an environment where children aren’t afraid to ask questions, try new things, collaborate, and gradually take responsibility for their own learning. I follow a teaching approach in which children aren’t just listeners, but actively discover, think, and seek connections on their own. I enjoy working with stories, creative activities, movement, and discussions. In the first grade, I believe it is important not only to focus on reading, writing, and math, but also on building relationships, fostering independence, and cultivating a love of school.

Outside of school, I enjoy arts and crafts, spending time in nature, and participating in Scouting. I look forward to guiding the children through their first steps in school and helping them discover the world around us.

I graduated at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University, subject Elementary educations, with specialization in art education . After studying at a secondary school I decided to pursue this field of study as I find the work with children really meaningful. I worked as a part-time worker in a kindergarten, helped with babysitting and led groups at a children's camp, where I had been going since I was a child.

After spending some time at university, I finally had a chance to see a different side of schools than just as a student. This made me realise that the education system and the educational process I went through did not suit me and did not motivate me enough.

I started working in Poznávání in 2020. I would like to help create a school environment that will motivate and support children in their further development, so that they enjoy learning and want to know more. So that they feel safe and can test their skills and knowledge at a friendly and safe place.

In my freetime I like painting, drawing, baking, cooking, reading, gardening, doing small craft projects, or I sometimes just switch off for a while with a good film or TV show and with a cat on my lap.

After eight years of general secondary education I studied primary education at the Faculty of education, Charles University. During my studies, I ran camps for children and worked as a teaching assistant. 
I chose to work with children because I find it enriching, diverse and there is no room for stereotypes. My goal is to create an environment for the pupils so that we can develop together and, based on their creativity, imagination and their own individual expression, help them to become free, confident and empathetic people who will not get lost in life. 
I would always like to move forward in my life and therefore I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new. In my free time, I love singing, dancing, playing sports, travelling or escaping into the world of books.

I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, in a combined form. I enjoy working with people, and working with the youngest children brings me the greatest joy. I see a career in education as an opportunity to help children find the right direction. Their mental well-being and good relationships in the classroom are very important to me, and I would like to develop further in this regard. As a future teacher, I would like to emphasise the development of social relationships, a healthy self-image, and one's own personality.

I knew from a young age that I would love to teach. My experience with children dates back to when I was still at secondary school and spent my time with kids at an athletic stadium. Later my path took me to the Jedlička Institute where I held the position of coach assistant. After my graduation in 2010, I became a class teacher, which I was until my maternity leave. During this time I worked in a bilingual programme called Kids on Track.

As a mom, I know that every child is unique and every child needs something different along the way. And as a teacher, I know that I learn the most from the kids. That's why I like being a guide who gives children the joy of discovering new things, who explains to children that making a mistake is the right thing to do. A guide who wants everyone to experience success and helps them cope with failures. School must be a safe place to develop onself. 

My journey leading to the teaching profession was not straightforward. It went through work in large companies, homeschooling, and into a Montessori environment. I studied International Relations and continued with didactics and psychology as part of my lifelong learning at the Faculty of Education in Charles University. I am fluent in English, German and Spanish. 
Despite several years of experience in home schooling, I moved up to the position of a head teacher in a Montessori school, where I gained valuable experience working with children. I believe in an individual approach to every child, in developing their talents and abilities, but also in supporting and working on the challenges they face.
I'm a big fan of cross-curricular learning when we take children out into woods, museums, theatres or galleries and learn about everything from maths to geography in a relaxed way. The best situation then occurs when children don't even know they are learning. That flow experience is key, whether it's art making or any human activity, it's a sign that we are in tune with what we are creating.

I studied at PedF UK, subject - primary education. My opinions on education were shaped by the Montessori school I attended and in the Czech Scouting movement, which is "my second home". I also gained experience of innovative approaches to teaching at the Scio School where I worked as a guide.

I graduated from the Secondary Technical School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Dobruška. I then completed courses focused on education and working with children, in particular the Study for Teaching Assistants programme. I am also a certified river guide for rivers up to WW II.

I have gained work experience in various fields, which has helped me develop a wide range of skills. I have a year of experience as a teaching assistant in a nursery school. In addition, I have experience in gastronomy, which has taught me effective communication and the ability to handle stressful situations. Working as a water sports instructor in Znojmo, where I taught primary and secondary school pupils on the Dyje River, played an important role in my professional development. I was also a children's camp leader.

I enjoy working with people, I am patient, and I can lead and motivate both children and adults. I like to work on my personal and professional growth and seek opportunities that allow me to put my skills into practice. I spend my free time playing music – I play the drums, guitar, and sing – and also doing sports, especially swimming, working out, and ball games. I am fascinated by hiking and adventure, which push me forward and give me energy for further work.

I graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University with a degree in Czech language and music education for secondary schools. During my studies, I had the opportunity to gain teaching experience outside my field of specialization, primarily as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. What I enjoy about working with younger students is their spontaneity, curiosity, and joy of discovery.

I believe that school should not only be a place for imparting knowledge, but also an environment that supports students' interests or helps them discover new ones. I believe that such an environment leads not only to more effective learning, but also to the inner maturation of children and the building of their healthy self-confidence, which they take with them beyond the boundaries of the school world.

In my free time, I enjoy painting and growing plants. What I enjoy most about caring for plants is the joy of each new growth. I find the same joy in working with children, where even the smallest step forward is of great significance.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History from the Faculty of Arts in Charles University, where I am also currently pursuing my Master's degree in Teaching History and Czech Language. Thanks to Erasmus in the UK and further studies under the guidance of history didacticians, I have always been aware that history can be taught differently and better. My aim is to actively involve pupils in the process of learning and discovery. I want history lessons to develop their critical and historical thinking, bring them the joy of discovery and motivate them to further independent work.
I have been working with children since my secondary school when I started going to summer camps as a leader. I have also been involved in tutoring. In my free time I like reading, drawing, playing the violin and piano, travelling and visiting museums and galleries.

I am completing my master's degree in animal ecology at the Faculty of Science, University of Hradec Králové, where I also studied biology and ecology at bachelor's level. During my studies and practical training, I focused on biology and nature conservation, as well as working with children, from teaching at suburban science camps to directly supporting children with autism spectrum disorder. Thanks to this experience, I have learned to take an individual approach, be patient, and communicate sensitively in a way that is tailored to the needs of each child.

I also completed a summer internship abroad in the Canary Islands, where I became more familiar with marine life and expanded my knowledge of marine biology. Direct observation of animals in their natural environment was a powerful experience for me, deepening my respect for nature. I would like to pass on this enthusiasm and personal experience to children so that they can also perceive the diversity of nature as something fascinating that deserves our attention and care.

I like spending my free time in the mountains, at the climbing wall, photographing nature, singing, or dancing.

I studied Czech language and civic education  at the Faculty of Education at MUNI. During my studies, I practiced at Labyrinth Laboratory School in Brno, which impressed me with its approach, especially its emphasis on children's self-realization, responsibility for their education and a supportive environment for teachers. 
I have been working with children as a camp leader for many years. I have also had the opportunity to work as a coordinator at various outdoor courses and adult team building events. My goal is that children will feel comfortable at school, will understand the 21st century world and themselves, and will be motivated to keep learning new things. 
I like spending my free time in nature with a backpack on my back or maybe on a theatre stage.

I studied Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Arts, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. After maternity leave I started working in social services with the elderly. On that occasion I also worked as a volunteer in a family centre and at summer suburban camps. I found that work with children makes me satisfied and happy. In the last two years, I have worked as a social worker and field social worker in open club programmes for children and youth at Point Milovice z. ú. During this time I completed my training as a teaching assistant and free time educator and thus I can now work with children in the education system.

I graduated from Luhansk State University, subject - physics and computer science for secondary schools. My university diploma is certified by the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. After my arrival in the Czech Republic I  completed a training programme for teaching assistants for children and pupils with a different mother tongue. I also attended seminars and workshops for teachers and assistants in supporting pupils with a different mother tongue, ADHD and other special educational needs. I supported teachers, pupils and teaching assistants (as a senior assistant) at an international school in Prague, so I have experience with foreign pupils and individual lessons. I have worked as a designer of metal products, as a LEGO instructor for children (LEGO education instructor).
I am the author of the courses for children entitled "Open Mathematics", "Tesla", "Useful Walks" aimed at exploring the world around us. I am the organizer of the programme "Temporary school" for more than 430 children from Ukraine. I teach mathematics and logic to children from 4 to 12 years old in Smartessori Educational Center (Prague). I use problem-oriented learning and elements of TRIZ (TRIZ Methodology = Creating and Solving Innovative/Inventive Assignments), NTC method for development of gifted children (I have a certificate for NTC learning system from MENSA organization). I like encouraging children to be creative in their approach to tasks, finding new and unusual solutions. I love developing their creativity, helping pupils study the world, and conduct experiments - physical, chemical, etc. I want to make children happy. I help them with their own discoveries, help them see the world from different perspectives. I use educational games to teach children. I agree with Socrates: "There is a sun in every man. Let it shine." There is a sun in every child! All you have to do is help him/her and make him/her shine.

I studied French and Education at the Faculty of Education in Charles University in Prague. During my studies at the faculty I started teaching French at a secondary school. After graduating in 2008, I joined a coprehensive secondary school as a teacher and a class teacher. I taught French, social sciences, and occasionally various humanities-oriented seminars such as multicultural education and cultural anthropology there until 2024. I was also always actively involved in the organization of students' extracurricular activities. I have always enjoyed taking students outside of school.
I try to incorporate elements of new didactic methods into my teaching and I like to develop myself. I encourage students to think critically, self-evaluate and work with error. During my maternity leave I completed a course in Montessori pedagogy. I led a Montessori club and camps for preschoolers and younger schoolchildren. I have experience with gifted children and children with special educational needs. I always aim to work with students with respect and partner relationship. Therefore I want to work in a school where respectful attitudes and partnership are not just empty words. I enjoy learning foreign languages, cycling, reading and spending time with my family.

I graduated from the Department of Information Technology and Library Science at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. Although I still enjoy the work with information, I enjoy teaching English even more, which I have been doing for more than 20 years.

I used to work mainly with pre-school children and younger school-age children, I also prepare students for Cambridge exams, I organize English summer camps and weekend "science workshops" for children.

I would like children to see a foreign language not as a list of words to be learned, but as a means of getting along in everyday situations and making new friends.

I studied Human science and Sociology in Charles University in Prague. At our school I would like to apply the experience that I have from another innovative school where I was a class teacher of the oldest pupil at elementary school. This experienc involved project-based learning and school parliament.

I like to continuously develop not only my own competences but especially those of the children. I believe in a partner approach which makes us learn from each other - children, teachers and parents.

I studied History and Social Sciences at the Technical University in Liberec. When I was on Erasmus internship in Vienna I had the opportunity to engage in individual and tandem teaching. I also taught at an international school in Prague, so I have experience with foreign students and with individualized teaching.

I have been working with children since my youth when I was a scout leader. Scouting taught me the love for nature and a responsible approach to citizenship, which are things I try to mediate to my students. I love modern technology, books, and participating in historical reenactments.

I studied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Organisms and Cell and Developmental Biology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. During my studies, I decided to become a teacher. I want to share the acquired experience with children and to explore the topics of biology from other perspectives with them, to be their guide in finding connections with other fields.

I have experience of working with children of different ages. I worked as u guide in a forest club,  as a tutor of leisure and educational activities for children from socially disadvantaged background, or as a science teacher. My activities reflect my interest in research, education and sustainable society with respect for differences. I have taken courses in Feuerstein's instrumental enrichment methods and enjoy discovering children's potential. I believe that we all have strengths and opportunities for further development that can be uncovered. I am also a big fan of the concept of non-violent communication. I continue to provide educational support to children living in socially disadvantaged circumstances and consultancy support to schools involved in the Eco-School programme. In my free time I like wandering in nature and doing experiments with my daughter.

I am a graduate of Project Management of Innovation at CTU. While studying at the high school I was involved in leading extracurricular activities in English, such as conversation groups for primary school students. At university, I expanded my activities to include lecturing and conducting preparatory courses for various exams (matriculation, PET, FCE). It is this lecturing activity that allowed me to get acquainted with innovative methods of education. 

My goal is to contribute to creating an environment that will motivate students and promote their interest in further study and development. The English language has opened many doors for me both in my professional and personal life. I would like to help impart this knowledge to pupils in a fun and novel way and motivate them to embark on a journey to find their own potential. 

Apart from teaching English, I am interested in my pets, freelance illustration and project work.

I am an English teacher from Texas, United States. I have lived in Prague for 4 years and finished her masters degree at DAMU last year. I am very excited to join the school and have been working with English and arts education for many years now starting with my work in Austin, Texas with an arts and education nonprofit Creative Action. When I am not at school, I also work as a musician and theatre director. 

I love teaching in Prague and sharing new perspectives with her students. I use a mix of storytelling, movement, and mindfulness exercises when I teach as a way to approach English learning that is effective and fun for her students.  

I come from Mexico City, where I studied teaching English as a foreign language. I teach children, teenagers and adults. I like to incorporate play and fun into my teaching, and I love to share all kinds of cultural experiences with my students, which are an integral part of the classes. In my free time, I enjoy reading horror and mystery novels and painting with oil paints and watercolors.

I graduated from MFF UK, subject: software engineering, and completed my pedagogical education within the Teacher Live programme. In addition to my main job, IT specialist, I like work with children, trying to get them excited and develop their interest in modern technology.

In my spare time, I play sports, board games with friends or read good books, mostly non-fiction.

I studied Comics and Illustration for Children at Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in University of Western Bohemia in Pilsen. In the past, I worked with children from socially disadvantaged background and/or used to teach preparatory courses for the admission exams to art secondary schools. Currently, apart from teaching art, I work at a bookstore with books on art and I also do my own art work. I love sharing joy and ideas with children and I feel it is important to treat them with respect and guide them to expand their skills and try as many art techniques and approaches as possible - so that everyone can eventually find their own way to express art.

After eight years of study at the Jaroslav Vrchlický Grammar School in Klatovy and a year at the Comenius Grammar School in Deggendorf, I pursued a degree in Physical Education and Sport at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University in Prague, where I subsequently completed a follow-up study in Health Education.

My desire to combine movement, a healthy lifestyle, and the joy of discovery led me to work with children and young people. I find children to be a great source of inspiration – their openness and energy motivate me to seek new ways to make learning enjoyable for them and provide space for their own growth and development. My goal is to create an environment that supports natural curiosity, physical and personal confidence, and a healthy relationship with oneself and others.

I have gained experience not only in schools, but also in running suburban camps, sports clubs, and as an athletics coach. Thanks to my coaching licences and courses, I can offer children and teenagers a wide range of activities – from athletics, gymnastics, and movement games to skiing and ice skating.

In my free time, I enjoy sports, travelling, dancing, and discovering new places. I am also interested in healthy lifestyles and good nutrition. Sport and exercise are not only my profession, but also my passion in life, which I try to pass on with enthusiasm.

Music has been a constant presence in my life. From an early age, I was surrounded by various nursery rhymes and children's songs, and soon I began attending choir, dancing, and playing the flute. At music school, I devoted myself to solo singing, playing the piano and percussion, and I also tried playing and singing in bands, big bands, and orchestras. The piano won out, and I studied it at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory.

The irreplaceable role of music in our lives has been confirmed not only by my personal experience, but also by my studies in psychology. I see great meaning in passing on my passion for music to future generations, whether through learning about different musical styles, discovering the stories of great musical personalities, active listening, or creating music.

I graduated from a hotel academy and worked in the restaurant industry for ten years. I've always been attracted to working with children. After my son was born, I became more interested in education, motivation and general development of children. This led me to our after school club. I consider education in this field very important, which is why I decided to study education at the UK. What I love about working with children is the variety, good humour and openness of the children. In my spare time I spend time with my family, I love to create, sew, bake and enjoy nature walks.

I studied Special Education in University of Hradec Králové and then in Charles University in Prague, where I graduated in 2024. My master thesis focused on gifted children with ADHD. This topic is still close to my heart.
I decided to work in education during my university studies when I visited various types of educational institutions. I have always been more attracted to alternative approaches to education. Special education taught me that every child is unique and requires an individual approach. I believe that school can offer much more to a child's life than just knowledge.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing sports and spending time with my loved ones.

I graduated from a secondary school of social services. During my studies I already had the opportunity to work with the elderly and children from infants to children of older school age. I loved the work at Prague DDM where I gained most of my experience. 

I worked as a leisure time organizer at Primary School Lyčkovo náměstí. I also worked as a nanny in a French family living in Prague for two years. I was actively involved in organizing summer camps for children and creating programmes for them for five years, including one year as a recovery health worker. 

In my free time I am interested in nature and animals. I am actively involved in rescuing dogs from unsuitable conditions and re-training them.

I graduated in social pedagogy and before starting a family I worked as an educator in a centre for children with behavioural difficulties. I also gained teaching experience and administrative skills in the non-profit organization DYS-centrum Praha. Before my work at the school I worked at National Safeline. I was involved in providing education, running the organization and especially communication with the staff.

I like things prepared and well elaborated. I take organizational tasks as a challenge both in my family and at work. My aim is to be sensitive to the needs of the school, to connect children, parents and staff and to create the most welcoming environment for all.
